Antonino Condorelli Photojournalist

Antonino Condorelli was born in Catanzaro, a Southern Italian city on the Jonian Sea in 1973. He takes his first photograph with his old father’s camera when he was 12 years old.
When he was 18 he started to attends an old freelance photographer that introduced Antonino in the professional photography.
In 1996 Antonino starts contributions with local newspapers, and after attending a photography school in Milan he started the freelance career.
He began a contribution with Associated Press, covering immigrants arrivals from Albania and Middle East on the Italian coasts.
In 2005 he started contributing to Reuters, covering sports, news, political and social events. He also worked on assignment with other Italian agencies and magazines.
In 2009 until 2011 Antonino works as editor and photojournalist at OTNPhotos an Italian press photo agency. He continues now his experience as a freelance photojournalist.
Antonino has worked in Argentina, Romania, Burundi, South Africa, The Netherlands, Lithuania. He covered Eastern religious celebrations in Calabria,
features about the psychiatric hospitals in Calabria and the daily life of gypsies in Europe, Vatican events and sports in Italy and Europe.
His work has been published in, L’Espresso, Gioia, Gente, Oggi, Corriere della Sera, The Herald Tribune, Il Intelligence and Lifestyle, Photon, Panorama, La Rivista della Montagna,
Sport Week, Gazzetta dello Sport, Save the Children.
In early 2011 he contributed to the book 1000 comuni in rete, I primi Cento on assignment by Ansa and Vodafone Italia.
Antonino Condorelli is married and lives together with his wife and two sons in Calabria.
Antonino is available for assignments and to move in everywhere.
